I am curious about Cowboy culture and I’m having a hard time trying to imagine myself wearing cowboy hats. So I want to know everything about them and see if I can wear them without feeling silly. I don’t want people looking at me funny if I walk around town with them on. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
well start by trying one on… then if u happen to enjoy it and think you look good dont worry about what others might think of you.. just wear the damn hat.. besides girls think cowboys are hott so it might just work in ur favor

Looking at hats for my Step Dad for Christmas, couldn’t remember which one he wanted but I did know what the one he wanted looked like – but I couldn’t see any visible differences between the two types of hat?! Is it just a difference in name or what?
No difference really in visuals, but Fedoras are longer-brimmed. I’m sure your step dad would never notice what type of hat it is.

Im being a murderer butcher with blood on my apron and gloves. What kind of belt should i wear to hold my fake butcher knives? I was thinking tool belt but that might look weird. Also what kind of hat, if i cant find a good one i might just wear a bandanna.
a regular belt with an s hook on it .. and a hair net or a du rag lol .. ooooh or you can grab a nylon sock and pull it all the way over your head .. that is super creepy looking!

I plan on buying a fedora hat . I’m actually saving up I just wanted to know how much do they cost I wanted a straw one I was assuming I could buy one at Macy’s or sears but I’m sure they’ll only have male ones in stock !
10- 50 dollars depending on quality. Go to a mall or if you live I a big enough city go to the fashion district. Macy’s would probably have them

I am looking to purchase a straw Amish hat. I am looking for a place in the Central NY region. I know their are several areas of Amish population near Pulaski, but stores run by the Amish are obviously not on the internet. Any suggestions?

I have a george strait signature straw cowboy hat that I wear during the summer. I live in southern united states and it’s almost fall. How do Icare for my hat when im nt wearing it ?
As fall nears, you’ll switch from your straw show hat to your felt one. Here’s how to clean and store your straw to keep it in tip-top shape for next year.
•Clean it. Use a soft brush to brush away loose dirt. Then use a soft, water-dampened cloth to wipe away dirt and grime. Wipe your hat, including the bottom, interior, and sweatband. (Tip: Clean your hat after each use to help ward off stains.)
•Air it out. Residual moisture can mildew and rot hat materials. To air-dry, turn the sweatband inside out, and place your hat in an open hat can, or crown-down on a flat surface.
•Store it in a hat can. A hat can will protect your hat from damage and dirt. Hat cans are available in single or double styles (for one or two hats), and range in price from $30 to $80.
•Keep it cool. Hats stored in hot, humid conditions or near heat sources lose their shape. Store your hat well away from heaters and heat vents.

I would love to travel to a place thats very country like. I would like not just a regular city but where everyone is country like where cowboy hats and outfits are common, kind of like Taylor Swift.
Preferably a place thats not too expensive to fly too either.
I know country and western are pretty similar but more along the lines of country, I mean a rodeo would be cool but thats more western
Nashville, Tennessee
