What type of hat is the grandpa hat in Animal Crossing?

I’ve been wondering what type of hat it is. I’m assuming it is a fedora, but I don’t know if my suspicions are correct.

Its like a beige fedora with a navy strap around it. Its really cheap, and goes with alot of clothing.
