What is the best way to clean, and keep clean a white hat?

I have a white DC shoe company hat that is fully white i got it serveral weeks ago and now its has a little dirt on there that i would like to take off. I want to know what is the best way to clean the hat. I also want to know if there is some type of protector for hats this is similiar to stuff you put on shoes to keep them clean?

I DO NOT WANT TO MAKE THE HAT YELLOW OVER TIME EITHER , LIKE MOST WHITES GET.

Don’t know about cleaning it, not sure of the material. Probably try taking to a professional cleaner. As far as keeping it clean, get a hat box, and I believe you want to wrap it in blue tissue paper to keep it from yellowing. Somebody correct me if I’m wrong on the color, I remember my mom telling me that about some old baby clothes of mine she had wrapped up, and some reason blue sticks out.

I think its silly to buy a white hat, unless you are rich and have
no other hobbies.
