How do I clean a polyester fitted hat without ruining it?

Whats the best to clean a fitted hat. It is made out of polyester.
Also it is a few years old. It is not rediculously dirty but I just want to clean it.

If it has a dry clean label in it then take it there.I took 5 at the beginning of the winter that had never been cleaned & they only charged me £3 per hat.I reckon that was better than risking washing them & losing favourites.They did have embroidery on so another reason why I felt specialist cleaning was best

I am looking for a cool bucket hat to wear for outdoor activities. Where is a good place to start looking?

I need help/info in a hurry. I will be busy during the campaign period helping my future father in-law who’s running for a position in our municipality. The sun will always be out during this summer; I need a cowboy hat. Any information about the price would highly be appreciated.

there are lots of stores now selling cowboy hats, just yesterday i went to greenhills and saw a plethora of cowboy hats for sale. i reckon they cost about 300-800 per piece, though if the quality is higher, the price definitely will be higher as well.

Hats are actually good for your hair. They prevent sun damage.

Genetics takes the part in hairloss/baldness. It is not a hat. Medicine can help if that is the case.

OK so my brother dropped his hat in vomit at a waterpark and said i could have it. Im gonna wear it the next hat day at school. The stain is on the bottom of the visor/brim thing or whatever its called. Does anyone know how to get it out without using the washer or dishwasher? cuz that seems like it wuld mess up the shape of it.

Handwash it with laundry soap in the sink, and scrub it just with your hands or the soft side of the sponge.

I am making a hat for someone and forgot the book at home in another state. All I know is to cast on 84 stitches, then do the stockinette stitch until it is 8 inches long, but I forgot the rest. So I was wondering if anyone else knew because I cant find it anywhere online.

I don’t know about the specific pattern you mention. I suppose that if anyone did have it they would not be able to publish it online because of copyright infringement laws. You might find the same book in a library or even a store, and you could read it over and see if that helps. Could someone at home make a copy and mail it to you? Otherwise, any similar type of hat should help. There are huge numbers of free hat patterns online, and you can see pictures if you search images. Good luck, I hope this helps.

I’m going to Italy for the 1st time in July & I know it will be hot. I want to wear a hat sometimes to keep the sun out of my face because I want to try to keep my complexion the best I can. But I want to wear something that I won’t look like a dumb tourist in. For example, I have a floppy straw hat, but would that seem like I should only wear it at the beach. I also have a denim bucket hat, but it doesn’t seem too stylish for Italy. Are those okay to wear or does anyone have any ideas for something casual but still fashionable and cute for Italy?
