I am 14 and i have a guys, plain black, fedora hat, and i was wondering what to wear. I have a black long-sleeve shirt that buttons up (it has stripes and an awesome design on the back). I can put that over a t-shirt, but i was wondering what color t-shirts i should wear as well as what color jeans, shorts, etc….. And if you say they are not in style people my age do wear them so don’t bother saying they don’t. Thank you if you helped.
You should use the boyfriend look with it. Get a pair of guy pants, roll the bottoms, use a scarf or something like one for a belt. Then use a fitted boyfriend tee or a plain button up top. I would use a white plain button up with a black shirt under it, pair of black/dark jeans and black chucks. Use black accessories like earrings and bracelets to play up on the color, but through in another color, such as white or purple to add drama to the look.

A fedora hat looks best with khaki shorts and a short sleeve button up shirt. If you are trying to be fashionable, and it seems you are, shirts with designs on them (especially button up shirts) are generally frowned upon. But, props to you for wanting to pull of the fedora, it can be done…

It’s a little different for a girl. It’s a masculine look, so you have to balance it with some femininity. If you’re gonna wear the black shirt with the design on the back, maybe you should balance that with a skirt and heels (hell, you could even wear some Chuck Taylors just to be different). Don’t ask me what colors though (that’s a relative question).
I wouldn’t advise you to wear pants. You already have a manly hat and a long-sleeved shirt. You don’t wanna look like a dude. If you do decide to wear pants, try some flared denims and heels/wedges. You probably shouldn’t wear boots or gym shoes with the jeans.

Fedora hats are always in style. They fit with about anything, just jeans and a plain shirt will do just fine.
