What’s with all the cowboy hats at the RNC ?

I noticed a lot of people are wearing cowboy hats at the Republican National Convention. Why?
Has standard etiquette been changed? I always thought you were supposed to remove your hats when entering a building. At least that’s what I was taught in the Air Force.

Republican=redneck

Infact, Palin’s assumed business was Rouge Cou (redneck). Basically, Redneck=out in the sun too long.

    Haha, I think they forgot they were in Minnesota, not Montana. Seriously, though I think its supposed to represent the "Maverick," but it makes them look old and boring if you ask me. This reminds me of the 1992 RNC when GHW Bush played country music and looked lame compared to the "Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow" music of the Clinton DNC.
