  • Why do Baseball Players ahve to wear a cap/hat????

Posted by admin on February 25th, 2010 and filed under cap hat | 7 Comments »

    I never understood this ..
now me, I’d rather play with no hat ..
why do players have to wear them .. and it cant be to block the sun all the time .
.is it in the Uniform Policy???
what ever it is, its pretty stupid.. do you agree?
hey man ,, and lady .. what about the teams that are in a dome? .. twins, devilrays, for example,,
its not for the sun there .. guess it just a Uniform policy than…….
rsb3(what ever the hell tha numbers were) .. thanks for giving me your opinion .. but thats not how you get 10 points: ) .. by the way dipsh!t .. you just stated the obvious… i understand how long its been around .. i’m just sayin/ shouldnt players have the right to not wear the hat if they choose???
    lol .. ur a funny man ..
    THATS NOT THE POINT!!
Obviously no one has a problem with wearing a baseball cap when playing .. i mean they’ll do it, sure, no problem.. you get use to it .. now see,, i play baseball.. and sometimes I would like to just go out there with out a cap … it really makes no sense, whats the big deal? .. with cap or with out? ..
Just for the record .. i know a hell of a lot more than you about sports . go ahead look at my Q&A
yes jack .. jack hoff(btw .. Ben Dover and Mike Literus, wanted to know how you were doing)
yes.. bored… .. nuthin else to do .. so i decided to argue to mindless people(person) .. and win: )

I SOOOOOOOOOO totally DO NOT agree!!!!!!!

IT IS PART OF THEIR UNIFORM!!!!!!!!!! AND HAS BEEN FOR LIKE 150 YEARS!!!!!!!!! This has got to be one of the dumbest questions I have ever seen…..

YOU are the dipsh_ — I don’t care about your 10 points — I would give up all my points to set the record straight with brainless idiots like you. These people are paid MILLIONS of dollars — they will wear and do whatever their boss tells them to—PERIOD.
    IDIOT

The "big deal," IDIOT, is that you are not PAID MILLIONS of dollars to play – when you go out and play baseball (and I’m sure you’re really great) and don’t wear a hat, it’s not your JOB. Professional baseball players are SALARIED EMPLOYEES – they do not have a choice.

That’s the big deal, MORON. (yeh, it is so obvious that you know much more about sports than I do — this doesn’t even qualify AS a sports question – it is just a pathetic, idiotic query, from some no-brain loser, that happens to be about baseball)

What is the name of the hat or cap that looks like a swimming cap but is covered usually in black feathers? ?

Will wearing a baseball cap(hat) cause you to lose your hair?

Posted by admin on February 21st, 2010 and filed under cap hat | 1 Comment »

My friend who has long hair said he does not like wearing
Hats because it makes your hair fall out. Is this true or is it a myth?
Because I wear one 5 days a week for around 7 hours each day.
also i just started wearing one…so i wouldn’t know first hand. And i just remembered baseball players wear hats all the time do they lose their hair starting from their forehead like many guys do?

Well, you’d know the answer first hand wouldn’t you? LOL.

Nah, of course it’s just a myth! People wear baseball caps all the time! There’s no proof that it DOES make your hair fall out.

How does Link’s hat or cap thing stay on?

Posted by admin on February 19th, 2010 and filed under cap hat | 6 Comments »

Link from Legend of Zelda. Seriously! Does he use bobby pins or something? (I ask because I’m thinking about doing a cos-play. :)

they don’t really say how it stays on his head, even with strong winds, links hat stays on top of his head, so you may want to use bobby pins to keep the cap or hat on.

What is the proper way to clean a hat or a ball cap?

I have hats and they get worn out and eventually I wash them in the washer which tears them up and I only wear those for cutting the grass. I feel like there has to be a cleaner I can hand wash in or something.

How to Wash Your Hat In The Dishwasher
    From Heloise of Good Housekeeping.

In the dishwasher —no kidding! And wash several at the same time to save water and energy. Put any dirty cotton or washable wool cap on the top rack, secure it by using several plastic clothespins, add the normal amount of dishwasher detergent, and run through a regular wash and rinse cycle. Remove the cap before the drying cycle and place over a large coffee can so it keeps its shape while air-drying.

You can also use a baseball cap form (available at sporting-goods stores) for washing and drying, either in the dishwasher or the washing machine.

    Where Can I Buy That Adidas/Beckham Hat/Cap?

Last year bought an Adidas ball cap. It was maroon with a white embroidered soccer figure on the front. I think it was a David Beckham design. A man’s hate that fit well on a woman. I am trying to replace it, and can’t find this exact style.

Is it considered proper etiquette for a man to keep his hat (ball cap) on during a meal?

Posted by admin on February 8th, 2010 and filed under cap hat | 9 Comments »

It seems that men (particularly young adults) never remove their caps anymore. Has the etiquette changed?

No, it is not. The only thing that has changed is that parents are no longer teaching their sons that men’s hats are removed when they come indoors.

Evil nurse need black hat/cap. Where can I find one?

Posted by admin on February 3rd, 2010 and filed under cap hat | 2 Comments »

Going to be an evil nurse for Halloween. Looking for a black nurse’s cap/hat. The costume is vinyl so that would be great for the hat, too. But I will settle for black material of any kind. Haven’t found any! Thanks!

Those are hard to find and I don’t know why because the evil nurse is a popular costume.

The easiest way out of your situation is to simply dye a white cap black or use a fabric paint pen to simply color the hat black…that way the cross will stay red….you can pick up fabric paint for a couple of bucks about anywhere.

If you find a black hat please post the link….I get a lot of questions about this and I haven’t yet found one.

    Happy Halloween

    What is a good hat/cap for a guy with backcombed/volumized hair ?

Posted by admin on February 1st, 2010 and filed under cap hat | 2 Comments »

Im looking for a hat or cap that will rest on my head without flatening my unique hairstyle (backcombed sides), i cant seem to find many like this because most are too small and tight so just flatten the sides, ive been looking at dc caps because you can get them in larger sizes, are these any good maybe ?

    Thanks, Theo.
