  • How do you clean a vomit stain out of a baseball hat?

Posted by admin on March 1st, 2010 and filed under baseball hat | 2 Comments »

OK so my brother dropped his hat in vomit at a waterpark and said i could have it. Im gonna wear it the next hat day at school. The stain is on the bottom of the visor/brim thing or whatever its called. Does anyone know how to get it out without using the washer or dishwasher? cuz that seems like it wuld mess up the shape of it.

Handwash it with laundry soap in the sink, and scrub it just with your hands or the soft side of the sponge.

How do I do my hair with a baseball hat?

Posted by admin on February 25th, 2010 and filed under baseball hat | 2 Comments »

my hair is right at my shoulders, and layered, so buns and ponytails are difficult without a bajillion bobby pins. I have to wear a baseball-style cap for work, and am running out of ideas for how to do it. Any suggestions?
hmmm… i think i’m going to fuse a few ideas and curl my hair and put it in a low side pony, with a ton of bobby pins. thanks both of you!

u said it was hard for a ponytail…so not sure if pigtails would work’or u could wear it down with the hat slightly to the side…slightly

How do you handwash a fitted 59 fifty baseball hat, so it fits my head better?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under baseball hat | 3 Comments »

I just bought a new 59 fifty hat and i cannot return it. i dont want to wash it in the dryer, so instead can i just put it on after my shower, or how do i wash it hand wash it, or some other way to make it a little tighter?

dont wash it! it will ruin it. for the 5950 if it gets washed it will be ruined. if you want it to fit tighter put some water on the inner band part that goes on your head. do that for a few days and it should work

Where can I find a baseball hat that has just a letter on front like high school baseball teams have?

I’m looking for a new hat, and I love my old one. It is two-toned 6 panel hat with the letter "M" on it. It is really raggedy though. I want to find something similar but all the hats seem to have logos. There was also a ram on the back because our mascot was the rams. It would be a plus if it had a mascot on the back like my old one.

What’s the best way to clean a baseball hat without the cardboard going soggy?

Posted by admin on February 15th, 2010 and filed under baseball hat | 1 Comment »

Got a couple of baseball caps that need washing but the brim is cardboard. We don’t have a dishwasher and putting it in the washing machine will just make the front go soggy. I’ve searched around for an answer and they all saying washing machine and dishwasher, but that had been tried in the past and it went soggy. Any suggestions?

they make these plastic holderd for baseball caps that the cap goes into while waching and then drying if u do not dry the cap fully yes it will remain soggy

How can I shrink a 100% cotton fitted baseball hat slightly?

Posted by admin on February 10th, 2010 and filed under baseball hat | 3 Comments »

I have seen a bunch of answers for wool hats but not all cotton. I am worried about damaging the hat.

Put in in the dryer for a little while. Watch it carefully, though.

Stuff it with newspaper or a small towel and let it air dry. I wash all my husbands caps in the washer and sometimes they come out wrinkled, but never stay that way. Even on the rare occasions that they have been badly wrinkled, I’ve been able to straighten them to look like new again. Good luck!

What is the best way to clean a hat (baseball hat)?

My bf has THE DIRTEST had ever. It’s all sweaty looking, smells and LOOKS dirty. He won’t get a new one because he loves the darn thing so much. How do I get it clean without ruining the shape of the bill of the hat?

Any suggestions would work!! thanks a lot.

A lot of people put them in the top rack of the dishwasher, but I just can’t bring myself to wash a dirty, sweaty, ball cap the same place I’ll be washing my dishes later, so I throw them in the washing machine, usually with a load of jeans. Pre-treat with Shout or Spray-n-Wash if it’s REAL dirty. When you take it out of the washer you can reshape the bill easily, if needed. I hang it on the clothes line or on a hook on the bathroom door to dry. Very simple!
