This is a low profile cap that looks very close to a ball cap exept it almost always ,has brown,gray,blue vertical stripes,mostly brown.made with heavy cottan canves The bill or brim is crushable or soft.The only ones i have seen are fitted,not ajustable.Used to be popular in the 60’s 70’s 80’s last time i saw one it was 4 years ago and it didn’t fit me so i didnt buy it.Good as a welders hat or work cap.Its not a engineers hat,but made of the same material and not the same color or size as a engineers hat.If you know thename of this cap or where i can find one?thanks ….ive looked all over the net and cant find..

It is popular in ireland. Most have a button or snap at the end of the brim. pretty sure this is what your looking for.
