i went on a date last weekend and was real hot so had to wear a hat, so i took my bucket (fishermans) hat with me a nice black colored one, i honestly dont think they’re that bad but my gf insisted that we need to go shopping bigtime!. She says i may look like eye candy but my fashion sense is terrible! She even goes that if i ever wear a bucket hat again she will make me wear her pink bball cap next time even if it makes me look gay! (yeah right like i will wear a pink cap!)
I will admit my fashion sense is poor but….

I don’t mind bucket hats. Its your sense of personal style. However, if it was a ‘formal’ date..where the both of you dressed up to go out…then it was a bad choice on your part.
If this was a casual date…then I don’t see why not..and nothing wrong with it.
My bf has pretty good taste in clothes but I do give him pointers every now and then. I dont’ want to make him look what I want him to look like. It looses his personality and I certaintly don’t want to mold him into MY perceptions. It makes things….a bit boring.
Take some of her pointers and ask her for some advise…but don’t loose your personal touch that makes you…YOU

Well me as a girl would say that it is embarrassing when people dress retarded that are with you. Like your date! I would say most girls take it personally cause they care what other girls think. So I would suggest wearing a nice polo shirt with a coat or jacket. Leather, fleece pull over zip up sweatshirt. Make your self look nice. You can wear jeans but keep your style simple and nice. Don’t bother with a hat. Even if it’s sunny. Bring sunglasses!

i have picked up more chicks in a pink BBall cap then i care to count lol i love to go clubbing with my pink Bball cap and some shades on it it ust makes you jump out in a crowd.
also go shoping with her since you know your fashion sense is crap ust go and have some fun she might teach you something
