I was skateboarding yesterday while wearing my new era fitted hat and i was sweating a lot. So now it has a squiggly white line under it i think its from sweat Is there a way to get rid of it?
can it be washed? it is salt from your sweat that has dried and it will come out if the hat can be washed.
I studied in Germany in 1998, and we drank all sorts of stuff. I recently recalled a very sweet, fruity liqueur that had a colorful (pink or blue, I can’t recall) plastic baseball cap on the bottle cap. Does anyone know the name of this drink?
I was stationed in Germany for over 5 yrs and remember drinking lots of things that had colorful caps. Sadly your description isn’t helping but, here’s a thought.
Living in Houston, we have a huge chain of stores (Spec’s), that carry almost everything from everywhere. Try a search of their website and see if they can help.
Cheers bud.
What size shoes would I have on? Also, Is time travel possible? How would it work?
You are in a poor hut and can’t afford shoes.
When you go to sleep you wake up later. You have travel into the future.
i want to start making hats, so i need supplies
Try doing a search for these at www.yellowpages.com or www.yellowbook.com.
All the conservative talk show hosts criticized Obama for bowing to the Japanese Emperor when the President was in Japan. Would they prefer "W"’s bully style? Perhaps the President should carry side arms and have the secret service rough up hosts just to show them who is boss.
It’s about time we shake this IMPERIAL Self centered image of our selves. Our ego got Pearl Harbor Bombed and now the extreme Muslim’s want to kill us.
I have a Stetson fedora (fur felt). I was on a business trip a few months ago in Memphis and it got rained on. I took it out of the box the other day and noticed that the brim was not shaped the way I want it. It looks flat in the front. I was wondering how to get that "curved-down" look that it used to have. I’ve tried steaming it, but I’m not having the luck I’d hoped….
I have a few felt hats, mostly fedoras and once in a while one needs to be shaped up a bit. Heat up a small pot of water on high. When it’s boiling hold the bent part of the hat in the steam for several seconds until it’s heated with the steam and then form it the way you want. Once it cools and dries the shape will be set. I use it on the crowns and brims of my hats. If it gets really malshaped then you may want to find a hatter who can block the hat, which shapes it to a form and may look better than forming by hand.
Hi guys,
I am aiming to dye a mesh-back trucker hat that is embroidered. The mesh and embroidery are white, and I want to dye them pink. The hat itself is black. Is it possible to dye it without ruining the black?
Also, what kind of dye will work best for this type of fabric? Any advice or tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Won’t work. Polyester doesn’t accept dye.
..so the wide brim is more useful for sun blocking?
Im skeptical that a spray fabric stiffenning agent previously suggested would work due to weight and holes in the design of it.
run a wire through the brim, if you don’t want to see it, paint it to match
