I have a baseball hat and I want to know how to flatten the bill out so it is straight, like the New Era 5950 ones.

first bend it the other way, then lay it under one (or more) heavy book. That should keep it that way.

its a fitted, flat-billed, black hat, MLB. the hat is a little bigger than i want it and i cant return it.

It usually shrinks when you put it in the washer and wash it for a while. It will only smell like laundry detergent afterwards. It usually depends if the color’s going to fade, but usually not.

This is a low profile cap that looks very close to a ball cap exept it almost always ,has brown,gray,blue vertical stripes,mostly brown.made with heavy cottan canves The bill or brim is crushable or soft.The only ones i have seen are fitted,not ajustable.Used to be popular in the 60’s 70’s 80’s last time i saw one it was 4 years ago and it didn’t fit me so i didnt buy it.Good as a welders hat or work cap.Its not a engineers hat,but made of the same material and not the same color or size as a engineers hat.If you know thename of this cap or where i can find one?thanks ….ive looked all over the net and cant find..

I like the look of fedoras. I love the history behind them, the quality with which they are made, and just their general look and feel. I wear them casually as well as for my dress-type situations. My question is, if worn casually, what type of casual clothing is good to wear with a fedora? I love the hat, but I have no idea what type of casual clothing looks good with them.

I think the question is, what can’t you wear with a fedora?
I wear mine all the time. My favorite look is wearing them with skinny jeans and a white blouse with a black vest over it. But I also wear it with skirts (it looks great with denim minis!) and dark tops with bright or colorful patterns on them. This of course will depend on what color and material your fedora is.
